I beleive I have this correct but can someone tell me what I may be
missing ? I added a line to my kernel config and recompiled to enable PnP
and Sound, Now on boot up I see this line.

ug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: CSN 1 Vendor ID: CSC0a32 [0x320a630e]
Serial 0xffffffff
Aug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: This is a CS4232,
Aug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: but LDN 0 is disabled

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Aug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: Probing for devices on the ISA bus:
Aug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: sc0 at 0x60-0x6f irq 1 on motherboard
Aug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: sc0: VGA color <16 virtual consoles,
flags=0x0>
Aug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: ed0 at 0x300-0x31f irq 10 on isa
Aug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: ed0: address 00:00:02:02:67:67, type
NE1000 (8 bit)
Aug 31 02:28:18 tabletop /kernel: pcm0 not found at 0xffffffff

I do have a CS4232 Chipset in my REVEAL SC500 , so I assume the PnP worked
but what is the " LDN 0 " that is DISABLED ? ANd I still can't get the
sound to work..

Thanks

David
