My observations are much the same. Crashes during OS build/install seem to
have stopped entirely. One can arrange to crash the system using stress2,
but that might be considered unsporting 8-). Curiously, the smsc0 warnings,
eliminated during OS builds, still appear from time to time using stress2.

on the chance they might be of some use.
