Hello there:

Recently I bought ‘The complete FreeBSD, 2nd edition, by Greg Lehey. I
tried to install it into my computer but in vain.

At first, everything seems fine until boot up. It encounter fatal error
when trying to mount my SCSI drives.

I don’t know what to do now. I chose FreeBSD over Linus hoping to find
something better, but I am very dispointing not being able to get it
loaded.

Your help will be appreciated.

My computer consists of the followings:

Intel mother board PR440FX with one Petium Pro 200
Seagate 2 Gb SCSI hard drive
Fujitsu 10 Gb EIDE hard drive (boot)
Syquest, Syjet 1.5 Gb removable drive
Iomega 100 Meg removable
Usrobotic 33.6 external modem
Sony 17” se II monitor

I hate to give up on FreeBSD. Please help ………………………..
