I recently installed FreeBSD 10, using Mate as the desktop and Slim as the login manager. I then installed Squeak using pkg but I can't get it to run. It starts with: CHECKING cogvm CHECKING squeakvm but then execution stops with: Illegal instruction (core dumped) I get the same results if I used XFCE as the desktop. However, a few months ago, I installed FreeBSD 10 and Gnome on a different drive and it runs like a charm. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I haven't found anything on the FreeBSD website that answers my question, nor did I find any solutions after searching on the Internet. Please advise. Thank you. B. M. Jatzeck
