I managed to get Xfree running on the laptop thanks to prompt messages fromyou guys! Has anyone got multicasting to work on a laptop running FreeBSD? Its probably got to do with the driver for the PCMCIA card. Right now I'm using an IBM card and I desperately need to get multicasting to work on the laptop. I'm using the IBM card on the ze0 interface. I also have a 3Com 3c589 card which can work on the zp0 interface but somehow it just doesn't seem to work(i am trying it with irq 5 right now). Thanks Murali
