Perl and FreeBSD make for a near-perfect development environment, but the hassle of maintaining and upgrading them correctly, when one contains the other, makes for a giant PITA. Hopefully, we can remove all system dendencies on Perl and offer users a well-maintained port of Perl instead. - Matt -- Matt Loschert - Software Engineer | email: loschert@servint.com | ServInt Internet Services | web: http://www.servint.net/ | McLean, Virginia USA | phone: (703) 847-1381 | To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
