Hi Andrew, > Hello list. > > Is there good free (or cheap) antivirus for qmail running on freebsd? > I have qmail + odeiavir + F-Prot for Linux (works perfect under Linux compatibility) running on FreeBSD 4.5. The q-mail is with SMTP Authentication patch!!! NOTE: All this works only with the 'incoming' emails!!! Odeiavir: http://virus.isverybad.org/ F-Prot: www.f-prot.com ********************************************************* F-Prot Linux for Small Business is FREE for private users http://www.f-prot.com/f-prot/download/getfplinfree.html ********************************************************* Thanks God! These guys save's 'my' corp. network several times!!! By default q-mail cannot do virus check. You need something to check your e-mails for viruses and then to 'return' the message to q-mail for delivery. For this is Odeiavir - it is binary - not perl script. I think it is terrible to start the whole perl interpretator for every e-mail that comes!? ;-/ Hope that helps! --Miro To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
