Hi, seems to be a fairly quiet weekend so... I am building a new desktop workstation to replace my aging 8-yo one that has been as reliable as the sun rising every morning. I build things using portmaster and select options that are relevant. I'm wondering about sound options. Do I want ALSA, PULSEAUDIO, SNDIO, other, neither, all? I don't need "sound server support" - all I want is to play MP3 files (mplayer) and watch utUbe videos. And the occasional game of warzone2000. Thanks for any input. -andyf
