I running Freebsd 3.2 Stable as a print server and need to configure =
BOOTP to serve 2 HP JetDirect printer cards.
I've read the Handbook on diskless booting FreeBSD over the network. =
Can FreeBSD be used as a server for HP
JetDirect cards? And if so, what do I need to do on my FreeBSD printer =
sever?

So far I have included BOOTP option in my kernel and recompiled. I now =
get a BOOTP timeout for server on my NIC????
I have uncommented the tftp and bootps lines in the inetd.conf file, =
made a bootptab for my JetDirect card.

Anything else?=20

I would really like to use FreeBSD as the main network OS, and getting =
BOOTP to work is a must.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Michael P. Shimko
