Hi there, i have an unnerving problem with a port. i wanted to install textproc/yodl. turned out the port is pretty old; i found a patch that updates it to the latest version in gnats. but, the installation failed with ===> Generating temporary packing list /usr/libexec/elf/strip: /usr/local/bin/INS@qlTF: File format not recognized install: wait: Undefined error: 0 *** Error code 70 Stop in /usr/ports/textproc/yodl. the file doesn't exist in /usr/local/bin, which makes me nervous some more: strip normally says "No such file or directory" to nonexistant files. i've run make install in /usr/ports/textproc/yodl/ several times (if my box is hacked right now it won't get any worse if i hack it twice), and the part after the at sign changes. it looks like a badly written trojan or something... building and installing the program outside the ports collection doesn't give me any errors. i'm wondering: is the tarball trojaned? is something else hosed in my system? i've tried installing /usr/ports/www/links, and it ran to completion.
