If I play audio for any length of time, my machine will eventually hang. I am usually using xmms or mplayer. It happens less with xmms. The machine will be playing along then freeze, the note it is on keeps repeating... I can't move the mouse.. keyboard doesn't work.. can't ping the machine from another host.. totally frozen.. It does eventually recover after ~5 mins or so. After that first make world it was the worst, successive builds seem to be better but the problem is definately still there. I am currently running a build from Dec 24. Can anyone offer help or point me in the direction of how to track down what is going on?
