It does compile for Linux, but we don't support Linux Fuse clients it seems. On the flip side, upstream seems interested in supporting FreeBSD, so this could change soon. I recommend keeping this one around at least until gocryptfs is supported as it's quite a useful tool and dropping it would mean losing access to your encrypted files. If there are no complaints, I would adopt and undeprecate the port.
