BTW, I have some ideas how this entire issue of updating one's FBSD system can be done lots easier: say, by doing essentially an ftp binary up-rev across major releases: 2 -> 3 or 3 -> 4. Then using a relatively simple build|install and mergemaster moving within released. Like everything else, it's a matter of time and prio.... gary -- Gary D.
