Just wondering if any has had any success getting the modem working this laptop series (Modem on Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300...), or atleast with this modem... From dmesg it seems to detect a modem present, or atleast sees a UART 16550, unless that's just from the serial port? Been so long since I played with modems and init strings... Should i have sio0/sio1 (assuming modem is on one of these) compiled into kernel for this to work, or disabled? I've never used a modem in freebsd, just ethernet so to be honest, when it comes to this i'm clueless.. Any help, advise or anything would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
