Message-ID: <950504181245_71544.1006_EHL135-1@CompuServe.COM> Sender: questions-owner@FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I have an Adaptec 2940 scsi card in my pc. I am in dire need of getting freeBSD up and running as quickly as possible. I was told that new version (2.0.5) of BSD supports the 2940. My current quandary is that I won't be able to get the CD snapshot of this new release for another two weeks. Q: Is it possible to download the device driver for the 2940 from the 2.0.5 snapshot and run it with V 2.0.4? TIA, Evan Polster
