[-- Attachment #1 --] I need help with this. I took a harddisk out of a p133 computer and put it into a p200mmx. i installed freebsd and added soem security options like no identd, no sendmail, ssh. i booted it up and it worked. i then put the harddisk back into the p133 and now it won't mount root. when i do lsdev, i get disk1s1a Fs being listed. in the booting process i get ad0 being found the harddisk is on the primary master. i get error or code "22" when it says mount root failed and it gives me manual root mount option, at which if i do "ufs:/dev/ad0s1a" it doesn't do anything and gives me "22" again. does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? The computer is still using GENERIC kernel.
