The one I want to close most is kern/7415, it addresses mount_msdos > panics that were reported in a handleful of other PRs. I run kernel with the patch from kern/7415 for quite some time now. It doesn't seem to cause problems in normal operations. It also fixes the panic with floppy drive. Unfortunately, it doesn't fix the problem with the msdosfs filesystem in my hard drive. (Sorry I didn't told you earlier). The panic disappear, but when the device is VMIOed, access to any subdirectory cause message 'deget(): pcbmap returned 0'. I didn't get any idea about what is wrong, and didn't try to debug it properly yet. > I guess the fix is > complicated just enough to take a reviewer a little more time than he has or > is willing, and is also complicated enough than I would commit without a > second opinion. I would say this patch should be committed ASAP, so it can be backed out before 3.0.1 if someone will notice any damage :-/. I looked at the stuff, but I cannot say I understand everything well enough. Dima To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
