I should protray the status of this code more accurately... * The divert(4) code has already been checked in to -current. It enables any enterprising soul who wants to write an address translation daemon (or, whatever) to do so easily without any kernel mods. * The ppp daemon is a modified version of iij-ppp which has an address translation filter hacked into it; it may or may not ever see the light of day depending on management approval... hopefully so. In any case it's somewhat irrelevant now because divert sockets are a better way to implement address translation. Things like address translation should be separate from ppp. -Archie ___________________________________________________________________________ Archie L.
