No log file either 'cause it can't get to > the disk :-(. I've been exceedingly quite lately. The reason is simple. I've End-Of-Lifed the 5.0.x driver series at this point. I'm currently working on the 5.1.0 driver, and expect to have the first release out by the end of this weekend (fingers crossed). The 5.0.x driver was in need of a sequencer<->kernel audit, and since it needed a new sequencer to support U2W devices, it would have been a waste of time. So, the decision was made to go on forward to the 5.1.0 driver and resolve any problems there instead of continuing to beat a dead horse that didn't have U2W support. There are negotiation problems with ***every single 5.0.x driver version I ever released***. Find one that works best for you, and stick with it. In general, the later the version, the more likely it is that it will have fewer (or no) other bugs besides the negotiation issues. When the 5.1.0 driver is released, I would encourage people to upgrade since it will be supported, where as the 5.0.x series is going away. If you've emailed me and I haven't answered, it's because I've been working on this stuff and my regular job (which was hectic once I got back from Linux-Expo unfortunately). Please don't send me a bunch more "When is U2W support going to be ready" questions, I think I have somewhere around 200 of those sitting in my Inbox already. Watch these mailing lists, or watch the ftp.dialnet.net site. When it's ready, an announcement will be made and the files will automagically appear on the ftp site. -- Doug Ledford <dledford@dialnet.net> Opinions expressed are my own, but they should be everybody's.
