Look at how ftp is started from /etc/inetd.conf. Just add a new port to /etc/services, for example "myftp 1000/tcp" and copy the line in inetd.conf, just replace the first ftp with myftp. Kill -HUP inetd and you're in! Edwin -- Edwin Groothuis | Personal website: http://www.MavEtJu.org edwin@mavetju.org | Interested in MUDs?
