I have a working system that is on-line with 2.1.5, and a CD with 2.1.6 on it. I just dl your 2.1.7-RELEASE directory which I have now established on my 2.1.5 system as /usr/src/2.1.7-RELEASE. What steps do I need to take to install the new kernel and sources in the main source tree? I can install the PORTS and PACKAGES from the CD, but I understand the security hole does not make 2.1.6 safe for use on a system which is live on the net. -- oooOOO O O O o * * * * * * o ___ _________ _________ ________ _________ _________ ___==_ V_=_=_DW ===--- Don Wilde [don@PartsNow.com] [http://www.PartsNow.com ] /oo0000oo-oo--oo-ooo---ooo-ooo---ooo-ooo--ooo-ooo---ooo-ooo---ooo-oo--oo
