Bonjour d'Ottawa, Canada! You can't build OO 1.1 on AMD64. But you can run an i386 build of OO 1.1 on AMD64 if you have the compatibility set in the kernel. ------------------------------ Message: 9 Date: Tue, 16 Aug 2005 20:29:28 +0200 From: Skreetch <skreetch_fr@yahoo.fr> Subject: Openoffice 1.1 with gcc-ooo To: freebsd-amd64@freebsd.org Message-ID: <43023088.90500@yahoo.fr> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Hello, I'd like to install OpenOffice 1.1 using the ports collection (editors/openoffice-1.1) on FreeBSD 5.4 / AMD64 release. My ports collection, my "world" and my kernel are up to date. It's trying to install the lang/gcc32 application. I installed lang/gcc-ooo but it's the same result: ===> fr-openoffice-1.1.5.rc2.1 depends on executable: gcc32 - not found ===> Verifying install for gcc32 in /usr/ports/lang/gcc32 ===> gcc-3.2.3_3 does not run on amd64, and you are running amd64. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/lang/gcc32. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/editors/openoffice-1.1. How can I do it ? Thanks for your help. Skreetch ------------ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
