I believe I posted the output of cat /dev/sndstat before, but here it is again: FROM CAT /DEV/SNDSTAT: FreeBSD Audio Driver (981002) Apr 10 1999 12:43:55 Installed devices: pcm1: <CS4237> at 0x530 irq 5 dma 1:3 According to pcm, the symlinks should be just the opposite of what I posted before.
