Hallo, When I try to play a DVD movie with ogle I get this error: "/kernel: acd0: READ_BIG - HARDWARE ERROR" In the BIOS DMA is enabled and also in /boot/load.conf. With atacontgrol I have set the DVDrom to : UDMA66. If I set the DVDrom to PIO4 all goes reasonably well. Only the picture isn't fluid, it glitches every second or so because it can't read the movie fast enought. I am running FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE. Gr. Marcel.
