FreeBSD (and for that matter Linux) do not care what kind of video card you have. Where you will have problems is with XFree86, the XWindows program you'll most likely be using. Even then it's most likely that your video card will be supported. Check out www.xfree86.org for more info on that. I'm running an ATI @Play 98 with no problems.
