This was such an example. I stopped the bulk -a and started a new from-scratch one based on not using WITH_DEBUG . node18 and node16 worked fine in this context. (The bulk -a is still running, building other ports into packages.) (I've a gradually growing list of ports that end up with WITH_DEBUG nearly always undefined.
