Intel's also providing Linux drivers for these new 'smart' NICs with OpenSource licensing. The guy I spoke to said FreeBSD drivers aren't officially planned, but he said it'd be easy to port (he used to work for a FreeBSD-based ISP and is familiar with the OS).
