Its possible to boot an ELF kernel, but we need to do some serious work on the bootblocks if they are going to support BOTH a.out & ELF. Besides this, all we are lacking is time to finish it up, and decide how to transfer -current over without too much hassle... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Søren Schmidt (sos@FreeBSD.org) FreeBSD Core Team Even more code to hack -- will it ever end ..
