greetings,

i don't know if this should go to stable or questions, but here is the
issue:

the domain ifelse.org seems to give m4 a fit when creating a sendmail.cf
file. for example:

define(`SMART_HOST', `what.ifelse.org')

ends up:

# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DSwhat..org

it also happens for MASQUERADE_AS() and Cw, so i imagine it will happen
everywhere.

i tested this with test.unix.org and got test..org as well, so i suppose
it works for any words reserved by m4. i tried this on debian linux using
GNU m4 and there was no problem.

$ uname -a

FreeBSD taylor.poa 4.3-RC FreeBSD 4.3-RC #0: Sat Apr 21 05:43:39 EDT 2001
root@taylor.poa:/usr/src/sys/compile/TAYLOR  i386

cheers,
Bill
