You may try it out by 'df -i' which gives you avilable inodes. Notice
its current value, make (a backup will be a good idea) 'newfs -i 4096'
and compare available inodes to its old value. If you get double, 4096
is right (and the manpage wrong). If 'newfs -i 1024' gives double inodes,
4096 is wrong an manpage right. If I remember right, 4096 is right.
