I *think* it's O.K., but frankly I haven't tried. On top of that, the
latest 2.2 SNAP on the ftp site installs XFree 3.3. If you have a
working XFree 3.2 on a system I think you'll be better off leaving the
old one (why mess with something that is known to be working). It's
pretty easy to test it out. Just back up /usr/X11R6 before you start, so
you can always go back if it goes wrong.
