I also noticed that some processes are dying. Such processes are reported as D using ps (when ps returns) and stop running. All the system can hang after about 3 hours under X or console or very shortly after login under console --> red button. Under console, when a process hangs, I can switch to another terminal, enter root and return, this hang the second terminal (no successful login, Ctrl-C just write ^C) switching to a third terminal show that all the system is dead. I removed procfs in /etc/fstab, It looks better but not enough. -------- -------- Philippe Charnier charnier@lirmm.fr LIRMM, 161 rue Ada, 34392 Montpellier cedex 5 -- France ------------------------------------------------------------------------
