You will probably get more satisfying results if you ask this question
on a Mac OS X related mailing list. Remember, the people who build
software and maintain FreeBSD ports generally aren't concerned with
making it work on OS X. Plus, I'll bet a good majority of users on this
list haven't touched OS X...

I suggest you find an OS X mailing list, get a list of programs you want
to build, and post it there.
