>Description:

VMware3 hangs when run as normal user. Works ok when run as root.
(I noticed vmware is suid root, so why this makes a difference I have
no clue)
Have aio loaded.

Only way to get out is to do a kill -9.
This also leaves something in an indertimate state, because you have
to reboot to be able to run VMware3 again. (Something about a kernel structure
being invalid)

What information and how to collect it for your needs in assistance with this problem?

>How-To-Repeat:

Run VMware3 on 5.1-RELEASE
