Okay, that experiment with /usr/obj was bogus I guess.  I just went to the
same inode again, and now it says it is unallocated.  *sigh*  I won't even
attempt to guess why this is, but it's certainly not good news for me.  So
please disregard what I said conerning this attempt in my previous message.
