You will also find a boot disk image in that directory. If you don't have the complete set, you can check at ftp://ftp.freebsd.org. There is an xpermnt directory there. Sorry, but I don't quite remember the exact path. You will find the proper drivers there as well. Take note that this is experimental code. I also have an Adaptec AHA-2920 on my machine. I am using the exact same code. It works for me with no problems. Good luck.
