alright, tried this again, and it runs through fsck w/o pointing out any
errors, but when i try mounting it... i get the same error again. :/

WARNING: R/W mount of / denied.  Filesyste is not clean - run fsck
mount: /mount/ad4s1a: Operation not permitted.

is there anyway of unmounting and them remounting /?  i tried umount, but
it doesn't seem to work the way i do it.
