I have set the port to 80, >just to make sure it wasn't a browser issue Use the default 888. It seems to get confused occasionally when its not on that port (although I have a few RELENG_4 boxes on non standard ports that work fine). I have a couple of boxes running RELENG_5 on the 7xxx and 8xxx without issue with the 3dm2 daemon What is the output of # openssl s_client -host 127.0.0.1 -port 888 Assuming you have it bound to all addresses and listening on the default port of 888. Once connected, type GET / HTTP/1.0 You should see GET / HTTP/1.0 HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: 3ware/2.0 Connection: close Content-Type: text/html Content-Length: 757 3ware 3DM2 - ns6.recycle.net - Summary

This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them.

closed ---Mike >, but it still doesn't work.
