kldstat shows that acpi_video, acpi_ibm and acpi_call are loaded #sysctl dev.acpi_ibm.0 unknown oid 'dev.acpi_ibm.0' What I did was patch the file acpi_ibm.c But now I tried to change the DSDT file and I think I am close to finding out what is wrong... /boot/loader.conf acpi_dsdt_load="YES" acpi_dsdt_name="/boot/dsdt.aml" I added the lines manually from http://people.freebsd.org/~iwasaki/acpi/tpx61.asl.diff And this produces acpi errors that gets printed on the screen when I press Fn+Down/Up Finally those keys are alive!
