FYI--I updated to aic7xxx-5.1.0pre2, and now I'm finally seeing all my
devices. (The 5.0.x series never could detect my Zip drive and rarely
detected my CD-ROM.) The "Bad SCBPTR" messages seem to have gone away
as well.

My configuration is

        Two Adaptec 2940UW cards

        Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: SEAGATE Model: ST32550N Rev: 0019
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
        Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 01 Lun: 00
Vendor: IBM Model: DORS-32160 Rev: S82C
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
        Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 03 Lun: 00
          Vendor: PLEXTOR Model: CD-ROM PX-12CS Rev: 1.00
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
        Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: QUANTUM Model: VIKING 4.5 NSE Rev: 8808
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
        Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 05 Lun: 00
Vendor: IOMEGA Model: ZIP 100 Rev: D.09
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02

I'll see how well it holds up over the next few days, but so far this
driver is a vast improvement for me over 5.0.x.
