It looks like binary updates on jails (using ezjail) arent completing
properly

newjail/boot is a symlink to /basejail/boot  which is why it fails with
no such file/directory,

i could just symlink /basejail to where it is on my system (
/data/jails/basejail)

does anyone else see this type of error, and if so how do you handle it?

Installing updates...mkdir: /data/jails/newjail//boot: No such file or
directory
mtree: /data/jails/newjail//boot/kernel: No such file or directory
mtree: /data/jails/newjail//boot/kernel.old: No such file or directory
touch: /data/jails/newjail//boot/kernel.old/.freebsd-update: No such
file or directory
Could not create kernel backup directory

thanks

Paul.
