Try it, it's not so hard: . change PORTVERSION at the makefile accordingly; . reset PORTREVISION (to zero or delete the line) at the makefile; . delete distinfo file; . fetch the new port (make fetch); . create a new distinfo (make makesum); . fix plist (linux ports tend to use PORTVERSION at directory names); . test building/installing/packageing/removing; . finally send a PR (send-pr). > Theres a new version since 8 months in their website: 1.7.0 > http://www.epsxe.com/ > Thnx everybody for their work in freebsd ports tree.
