As mezz said, FAM is the preferred thing to do here.  However, upgrades
to gnomevfs2 will "zero-out" menus.  The only way to fix that is to
logout and back into GNOME, or do ``killall gnome-panel''.  Note:
killing gnome-panel could cause problems if you have items in the system
tray.  The more correct solution when upgrading gnomevfs2 is to restart
GNOME.
