I'm not really sure what's wrong. Plugging it in.. it appears to get detected. But it is unusable. I always get a 'device busy' after mounting it. Attached is a dmesg obtained after booting with the drive plugged in. Also of note... the "* was not properly dismounted" is due to the fact that FreeBSD gave up on the buffers when shutting down... because of the floppy. If I'm luck it gives up. Sometimes I get a kernel trap. This has been an ongoing problem since 5.2 (Presently running 5.4-STABLE as of a few days ago). Is anyone else seeing this problem? Should I file a PR? Its been going on for quite sometime. Any help is appreciated. If anymore information is needed please let me know. -- Regards, Eric FreeBSD fangorn.nxdomain.org 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #10: Wed Apr 6 00:21:02 CDT 2005 root@fangorn.nxdomain.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/CUSTOM i386 Copyright (c) 1992-2005 The FreeBSD Project.
