You do have to have mozilla installed=20 > though, in addition to firefox. just to confirm your recommendation works well here: Update of Eclipse to 3.1.2 didn't cure the Problem; however, installing Mozilla and then recompile Eclipse (after removing the "with_mozilla=3Dfireofx" from /etc/make.conf) -- just as you requested -- helped. Eclipse works fine (well, seems to ;-)). I can select the Help and Bowser-Items in the Preferences and also open Mozilla using Eclipse's Help-Men=FC. So, thanks again for your hint!
