Hello Hans,

Can we please return to this thread?

The problem was/is that the Linux binary skype-2.0.0.72,1 is sending
V4L1 ioctl's, the cam only understands V4l2 ioctl's and webcamd(8) does
not translate them to V4l2; you wanted to check why?
