I'm trying to install JDK1.4 on FreeBSD 4.10 and it can't seem to install the nspr port. I get the error: "bind installed with PORT_REPLACES_BASE_BIND causes build problems.". I have, indeed, installed the Bind9 port to replace the Bind8 in the base system. What's the deal with this? Should Bind9 NOT be installed over top of the base Bind8? If so, why can it be? Any ideas on how I can get the nspr port installed? Thanks a lot. --Dan
