Eischen" To: questions@freebsd.org Subject: gcc 2.7.0 Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org Precedence: bulk I need to get gnat-2.07 built because I need Ada tasking and the gnat-2.03, which is available in pkg_add'able format, does not support tasking for FreeBSD (and other platforms as well). Has anyone built this for FreeBSD? Assuming I have to build it myself, I need gcc-2.7.0 in order to build gnat-2.07. Has anyone got the necessary Makefiles, changes, and incantations to build gcc-2.7.0 under a -stable FreeBSD. If I do build gcc-2.7.0, can I do it in my /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc without breaking a sup and make world? Will _using_ the 2.7.0 compiler present any problems when doing a make world?
