E.g., start up > konsole, let screensaver kick in, unlock screen, Bingo! I usually start up kmail first, then at some point ,start a konsole to do something. I also open konsoles that are ssh sessions to various servers. These are fired from icons on the desktop (ssh -l root server.domain). These are not efffected. It seems to only be the one that is running as a user konsole. Stupid me killed the thing before I tested to see if I could normalize it. I opened another konsole and tried firing all kinds of stuff and then looking at the konsole window and it stays normal. I just put this in "drafts" and restarted X. Now I'm going to open a konsole... OK... i'ts white background. Now I open several ssh sessions. Voila! there is the wierd one. Wait! There are 2 konsole windows! I only opened one. This is really wierd! The schema for the 'rogue' konsole window is "Green Tint with Transparent MC" . Minimizing it doesn't change anything. Let me try to normalize it.. Yes.. clicking "xterm colors" makes it white. How wierd is this? Jim > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
