After last update (added UTF8 support) when misc/mc was built with WITH_UTF8 option (default on) it doesn't display frames borders. Problem exists in system console and gnome-terminal. In gnome-terminal when encoding was set to UTF-8 mc displays weird characters instead of nice frames.
>How-To-Repeat:
Compile misc/mc with WITH_UTF8 and run it - frames don't appear.

Compile misc/mc without WITH_UTF8.
